Some weddings stay with you long after the gallery is delivered and Amy and Eren’s wedding was one of them.

Set on a breathtaking private property near Shepparton, their day felt deeply personal from beginning to end. Emotional family moments, the proudest dads hiding tears, incredible food, dancing, tradition, and one unforgettable rainbow that stopped everyone in their tracks.

Their reception at The Woolshed at Emerald Bank brought together the warmth of two cultures, Amy’s Albanian heritage and Eren’s Turkish background, creating a celebration that felt rich in connection, family, and meaning.

There’s something different about private property weddings. They hold a kind of intimacy you can’t recreate anywhere else.
Amy and Eren chose to marry surrounded by beautifully landscaped paddocks, golden light, and the people who mattered most to them. The entire property felt alive with emotion, guests gathering under wide country skies, music carrying through the air, and quiet moments unfolding naturally between it all.

Every detail felt intentional without ever feeling overdone. Elegant, relaxed, emotional, and full of life.
One of the most beautiful parts of the day was witnessing the blending of both families and cultures.
The energy throughout the wedding was incredible. From the music and dancing to the way family surrounded Amy and Eren every second of the day, there was such a strong sense of togetherness. You could feel how loved they both are.

The reception at The Woolshed at Emerald Bank was full of laughter, emotional speeches, nonstop dancing, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you forget to even look at the time.
It wasn’t just a wedding reception — it felt like one giant embrace.
There was one moment during the day that nobody will forget.
As emotions were already running high, a rainbow appeared across the property — soft at first, then impossible to ignore. Guests stopped mid-conversation. Some cried instantly. Others simply stood there quietly taking it in.
For Eren, it felt like his mother was shining through to say hello.

And honestly, there wasn’t a dry eye around.
It’s hard to explain moments like that unless you were there. It felt bigger than coincidence. Bigger than weather. Just one of those rare, beautiful pauses in life where everyone collectively felt something at once.
As a photographer, these are the moments I chase most — not perfection, but meaning.

Amy and Eren’s wedding was the perfect reminder that the most powerful images are often the unplanned ones.

The tears during speeches.
The way their families held each other.
Wind through Amy’s veil.
Guests dancing without hesitation.
That rainbow stretching across the sky.

These are the moments that become family history.
If you’re planning a wedding near Shepparton and want photography that feels emotional, natural, and honest — the kind that captures both the big moments and the in-between ones — this day was exactly why I love documenting weddings the way I do.

Whether you’re planning a private property wedding, a country wedding, or a celebration that blends family traditions and cultures, there’s something incredibly special about regional Victorian weddings.
They feel grounded.
Intentional.
And deeply connected to the people around you.
Amy and Eren, thank you for trusting me to document such an emotional and unforgettable day. Your wedding was beautiful in every sense of the word.

Love, Kayla.
