There is something incredibly special about photographing a growing family in the place where their story is actually unfolding…. home.
Not a styled studio.
Not a perfectly curated location.
But the place where the kettle gets boiled too many times a day, where tiny socks end up under the couch, and where a newborn will spend their very first months learning the rhythm of the world.
In-home maternity and newborn sessions are quietly becoming one of my favourite ways to photograph families, because they capture something you simply can’t recreate anywhere else, real life!
One day your children will look back at these photos and see the home where their story began.
That is the kind of nostalgia that makes in-home sessions so powerful.
They freeze a chapter that moves incredibly fast.
They feel slower.
More intimate.
More connected.
Instead of rushing from pose to pose, we move through your home, following the light and the moments as they naturally happen.
It feels less like a photoshoot and more like documenting a morning in your life.
And those are the photos families tend to treasure the most.
